Great coffee at a good price, friendly staff, modern but cozy atmosphere. I go here before work a few days a week, 6am weekday openings got me over the line to justify membership to both Summit gyms.The setting is changed more often than I care for but really creative sets, and the gym could do with a few finishing touches (a couple 2.5kg plates if nothing else please) but I still get heaps out of it. Really easy to go in for a workout and break it up with some bouldering or vice versa.

After operating a very successful climbing gym in Malaga for the last 8 years - the team have now opened in City West. Open from 6am weekdays, this bouldering gym is easy to access on the train to City West station, or from the Perth CBD via the Green Cat.Great setup with holds/routes regularly changing. A great place to climb in the city.Oh... And the do coffee to kick-start your day...

Really cool climbing gym !Nice boulders with all levels of difficulty, friendly staff and fresh water available to refill your bottle !Didn't try coffees or food but look good tho.

Great new bouldering gym that, being in the city, provides a good central/convenient spot to climb before and after work.The climbing: Being in the city it’s not a huge warehouse like you see in the suburbs, but there’s still a good number and range of problems making use of new holds.The grading system works similar to Malaga with colours. I climb V3/4 which correlates with green/blue here. By my rough count there’s 7 yellow, 11 pink, 11 green, 17 blue, 16 red, 7 black, 3 white.Other positives: plenty of seating, good coffee (and inexpensive compared to cbd prices) and I understand there will soon be bike storage facilities - great for those cycling, esp. late at night.Other feedback: There is a bit of variance in difficulty within each colour but to be fair this place is new setting, it’s fair to assume this will even out over time. Also, given the size of the gym my preference is always to have walls as packed with problems as possible (like Boulder hub), or reset weekly to make sure there’s always something new - hopefully this will be the case for this venue.
